FAQ

1. In what languages can I ask questions?

Please use either English or Japanese when contacting us by email, fax or letter.

2. Do you have an importer in my country?

Please see the following web-page for a complete list of our importers and agents abroad.

3. I see your Japanese site has a web shop. Can I order directly from Daishichi from other countries than Japan?

For now, we can only accept direct orders from Hong Kong. Due to customs regulations and other restrictions, it is not possible for us to ship to other locations outside of Japan. When ordering from Hong Kong, please do so by email to info@daishichi.com. Prices charged via pre-payment will be the full Japanese prices listed on our web-shop, plus sending costs. Any other extra costs are also for the account of the customer.

4. Is it possible to visit Daishichi when I am in Japan?

Daishichi welcomes visitors for an explanation about our brewery (introductory video) and sake tasting. However, in order to protect the sensitive Kimoto-process, it is not possible to accept visitors inside the part of our facilities where the sake is actually being brewed (we can only show you the grounds outside). An advance appointment is necessary (info@daishichi.com). On days that Daishichi is closed (Saturday, Sunday and Japanese National Holidays), and on certain other irregular days due to business circumstances, no visitors can be accepted. The maximum size of visiting groups is six persons.
